David Warren Krafka

BURNSVILLE, Minn. — David W. Krafka, 64, of Burnsville, passed away May 9, 2008 after a 10-month battle with a rare form of lymphoma.

 Funeral services for David were held at 11 a.m., May 13 at St. James Lutheran Church in Burnsville.

David was born April 29, 1944, in Fort Sill., Okla., and was married to Karen Miller on July 12, 1975, in Red Wing, Minn.

David was a devoted husband and father who cherished time with his family in the north woods of Canada and Pine County, as well as Colorado. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

David is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Karen; his children, Annie (Troy) Haag, Josh Krafka; father, Warren Krafka; three brothers, Dean (Sharon) Bruce and Richard (Angel) Krafka; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy, and brother, Paul Krafka.

The family extends a special thank you to all the medical staff who cared for David during his illness.
