Mike Marker MASON CITY — Michael L. Marker, 26, died Tuesday (Sept. 8, 1970) from an accident at Lehigh Portland Cement Co. Mr. Marker was born April 4, 1944, at Mason City to Ralph G. and Bonnie (Buckland) Marker. He was a 1962 graduate of Mason City High school and attended North Iowa Area Community College (then Mason City Junior College) for two years. Before beginning work at Lehigh in 1967, he was employed by Earl May Seed & Nursery Co. and J & R Auto Supply. He married Susan C. McElroy Feb. 12, 1966, at Mason City. She survives him. Other survivors include his parents; a sister, Miss Ann Marie Marker; grandparents, Mrs. George (Anna) Marker and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Buckland, all of Mason City. Preceding him in death was his grandfather, George Marker, in 1949.
