Sharon Neumann

MASON CITY — Sharon Marie Neumann, 17, senior in Mason City High School, died Sunday evening (Feb. 25, 1962) in a Mason City hospital following a short illness.  She was a native of Mason City and had lived here throughout her life, with the exception of four years in Clear Lake.

Miss Neumann was born June 13, 1944, in Mason City, daughter of Allen R. and Gretchen G. (Weber) Neumann.  She lived at 203 21st SE.

The family lived in Mason city until 1948 when it moved to Clear Lake, and then returned to Mason City in 1952.  She had attended Roosevelt Junior High School.  She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Neumann, Mason City, and grandparents, John T. Weber, Concord, Calif.; Allen W. Neumann, Mason City, and Minnie Neumann, Mason City.  She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Grace E. Weber.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.  The Major-Erickson Funeral Home is in charge.  The family has requested that memorials be given to Our Savior's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
